Thumbs up for Aramark: again named a Top 50 Employer for People with Disabilities

Aramark – a global leader in food, facilities management and uniforms – who employs 270,000 people across the world, has again been named a Top 50 employer by the American CAREERS & the disABLED magazine, for providing a positive working environment for people with disabilities.

Lynn B. McKee, Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Aramark states:  “We are honoured to be recognized for our diversity and inclusion efforts for a fifth consecutive year. Each one of our employees is unique and we are grateful for the valuable contributions our disabled team members add to our vibrant workplace culture.” Last year, the company introduced a new employee resource group, Aramark Thrive, dedicated to team members who have a disability, and for caretakers and advocates of those with disabilities. Through this group, the company is trying to stimulate awareness and inclusion for people with unique challenges and to provide them and their support network with opportunities to share their stories.
