TSA’s New Year Update

UK Textile Services Association’s (TSA) CEO David Stevens recently issued a New Year update to the membership, in which a petition was presented to create a Minister for Hospitality in the UK Government. The initiative has now reached over 200,000 signatures and Parliament debated this petition on 11 January. The immediate outcome from the debate has not agreed for a Hospitality Minister but the issues raised in the debate have been requested to be presented further to the Prime Minister.

The organisation continues to have calls with various parties on the use of isolation gowns. While reusable isolation gowns are widely favoured, it is becoming more apparent that the Government has enormous stocks of single use gowns that are being provided at the moment.
